Description

The Friends of the Winfield Public Library will hold their annual meeting on Monday, February 12 at 7:00pm in the Community Room at the library.

After a brief business meeting to elect board members for the upcoming year and hear reports from WPL staff, they will host a “Love your Library” valentine-themed party to celebrate the successes of 2023 and look ahead to what’s to come in 2024 – including their annual book sale, scheduled for February 23-25.

“We are excited to once again host the annual book sale in February,” said 2023 Friends President Janet Schoentrup.  “Friends members will have early access to the sale on Friday, the 23rd before it opens to the public on the 25th.  That’s a great reason to renew your membership!”

The Friends of the Winfield Public Library is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that helps support library initiatives including book discussions, free little libraries, summer reading programs, special concerts, craft kits, book sales, and more. For those who love the library, believe in literacy programs, and understand the need to continually improve the library, membership in The Friends is a great way to show support.
