Description

Winfield Public Library and K-State Research & Extension have partnered for "Live in Control," a four-week, community-based, diabetes self-management class designed to educate, equip, and empower individuals with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes.

Live in Control encourages participants to bring a family member or friend to attend classes with them as a "care supporter." This added support can help participants stick with their healthy choices to develop lasting new habits.

Live in Control will meet every other Tuesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Class dates are October 28, November 4, November 18 and December 2.
