Afternoon Book Club

The Afternoon Book Club will meet Wednesday, February 21 at 2:30pm to discuss this month's selection, Peg and Rose Solve a Murder by Laurien Berenson.  The first in a new series, this book is described as “Murder She Wrote” meets “The Golden Girls” and follows septuagenarian sisters-in-law Peg and Rose as they join the local bridge club, only to come under scrutiny after the club’s most accomplished player is killed in his home.

Afternoon Book Club will meet every other month throughout 2024.  “The books we read and discuss in the Afternoon Book Club this year will really be up to the group,” says Ruth Bumgarner, Adult Services Librarian.  “We’re starting off the year with a fan-favorite cozy mystery, but we will decide as a group what genres and authors to explore throughout the year.”
