Description

Open to all kids, grades K-5.  We meet every Tuesday from 4:15pm-5pm, Oct. 1- Nov. 26. We'll have a number of special guests (both human and critter), and we'll learn more about the cool and fascinating flora and fauna (plants and animals) found right here in the great outback of Kansas!

Oct. 8: KS Snakes with Paxon Hutto, Youth Entrepreneur and Herpetology Enthusiast
(Herpetology– reptiles and amphibians) and his Grandpa Ken Brunson, Nature Conservancy
Oct. 15: Wildlife Rescue with Kyla Beavers, Beavers' Den Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
Oct. 22: KS Fish and Game with Gene McCauley, retired local Fish and Game Conservation Officer
Oct. 29: KS Spiders with the Great Plains Nature Center
Nov. 5: Bats! With Samantha Pounds, KS Dept. of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism
Nov. 12: Insects of KS with Rex Friesen, Entomologist
Nov. 19: KS Amphibians and Reptiles with Dr. Daren Riedle, KS Dept. of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism
