Description

On the brink of turning 61, author Anne Lamott decided to write down everything she knew for sure. In this 2017 talk, she shares the list with us, diving into the nuances of being a human who lives in a confusing, beautiful, emotional world. With her characteristic life-affirming wisdom and humor, she shares her thoughts on family, writing, the meaning of God, death and more.  Pack a lunch, invite a friend, and join the discussion!  We'll be giving away a copy of Lamott's 1994 book "Bird by Bird" and 2018's "Almost Everything."
