Join us for a special yarn-themed weekend STORY TIME!
The Arts and Humanities is hosting a tree decorating contest "yarn bombing" on the trees at Island Park in preparation for its annual Art in the Park event on Oct. 1. To complement the decorated trees at Island Park, from mid-September through mid-October, our featured Island Park story walk book is "Extra Yarn," written by Mac Barnett and illustrated by Jon Klassen. Join us as we share this delightful story along with some other threaded adventures, and use 'extra yarn" in fun ways following the story!
Optional- Then, stop by the park to check out the beautifully decorated trees! :)
