Program Description
Description
Eeeeeew! Prepare to be grossed out and fascinated by this lesson in science! Owl pellets are the undigested parts of the owl's food that have been regurgitated (yes, vomit!). The pellet contents depend on the owl’s diet, but may contain bones, fur, feathers, claws, or teeth.
OWL KITS- one per youth, while supplies last. Kit includes one small owl pellet (sterilized), tweezers/picks, gloves, and information. Once registered, you may set-up your curbside pick-up appointment (by phone, by registration, or by email).
Special thanks to the Friends of the Library for support of these grab and go kits.
