Program Description

Description

Join us for a modern take on the Chautauqua talks with "It's Intense:  Voices on Good Tension."  This special event will feature refreshments and social time at 6:30pm, followed by a series of short mini-talks (5 minutes each) given by a variety of Winfield community members.  All of the talks will reflect upon "good tension" that leads to change, but each speaker will be approaching that theme in their own way.

Registration is required for this event.  Table seating will be offered, and group reservations up to eight people can be made by calling the library at (620) 221-4470.  Individual registrations may be made online or by phone.

It's Intense:  Voices on Good Tension is a companion to the "Voices and Votes:  Democracy in America" exhibition, a Museum on Main Street collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Humanities Kansas.
