Looking for a sea-riously fun craft project this summer? Create your own sea glass candle with the new Grab & Go Craft Kit from Winfield Public Library.
This month’s craft kit embraces the spirit of the summer reading theme, Oceans of Possibilities. Kits include all supplies needed to complete a colorful candleholder (battery-operated tea light included) to help you feel like you just got home from a beach vacation.
Kits will be available beginning at 6:00pm on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
June’s craft workshop and Grab & Go kits are part of the 2022 Adult Summer Reading Adventures. Participants will earn a ticket to enter into the weekly adult prize drawing. Tickets can also be collected by checking out books, submitting book reviews, attending events, and more. Starter packs and additional information can be found at Winfield Public Library. Prizes are generously donated by the Friends of the Library.
Grab & Go Craft Kits are made possible thanks to the Friends of the Winfield Public Library. This group supports library activities such as the Summer Reading Program and the Discovery exhibits. For those who believe in literacy programs, love the library and wish to support strong community, membership in The Friends is a great way to show support.
