Description
Led by Southwestern College Senior, Faith Fondoble, Fishing with Faith is a variety of fun, hands-on activities for children grades K-5.
We will be learning about how to take care of our environment when we go out fishing! There will be several interactive activities including snackle-box decorating, giant fishing, and a story time put on by Ms. Jo! *Please note that snackle-box supplies are limited to the first 30 children.
Faith Fondoble is a senior at Southwestern College, majoring in Biology and minoring in leadership. Faith loves the outdoors, and fishing with her dad, Grandpa, and cousins is one of her favorite things to do. She hopes to share that love for nature and fishing with youth at her library event on Saturday, March 29, and also at her Youth Fishing Event held at Island Park from 9:00 am to noon on Saturday, April 12, where children ages 16 and younger can learn how to tie on hooks and cast.
